WHERE EVERY GUEST FEELS LIKE FAMILY
My father and I started hunting on this property — the land I grew up on — when I was 16. We noticed how many people hunted the farmland around us and figured we'd give it a try ourselves. We fell in love with it fast: the smell of the morning, the wide-open views, and being out early with a second-hand shotgun that fired maybe two times out of three.
We started inviting family and friends out, and more and more folks told us we had something special — small, private, and full of charm. We opened our lease to the public in 2023 on nothing but word of mouth, and we've grown our little hunting community steadily ever since. Today Benny's is a place for dove hunting enthusiasts, first-timers, and families alike, on prime farmland just north of IH-10 outside Seguin.
We believe in three things: safety always comes first; be kind to your fellow hunter — it's a first-come, first-served location, so give everyone the space they need; and have fun and enjoy the area. And if we ever fall short of that, tell us how we can do better, and we will.
